KARACHI: A husband and his pregnant wife sustained injuries in an incident of shooting between policemen and robbers in Karachi’s Korangi No 4 Sunday night. According to police, the suspects had opened fire after the policemen had intercepted them. However, the couple, who was passing by in a rickshaw, was injured in the cross-fire. The Korangi SSP said that they have launched an investigation into the incident, while assuring that the policemen will be investigated if they are responsible for the shooting. On Saturday, three members of a family were killed during a shootout between the CTD and suspected terrorists near Sahiwal.
