Hurricane Irma Moves Up Florida Coast After Hitting the Keys


Florida officials have warned that Irma could be worse than Hurricane Andrew that devastated South Florida in 1992. It was the second Category 4 hurricane of the season to hit the U.S., after Hurricane Harvey hit the Texas coast last month. Lixion Avila, senior specialist with the National Hurricane Center, said it is extremely rare to have two Category 4 storms hit in one season.
