David Bennett, a native of Huntsville has been installed as the Sovereign Grand Commander of the Scottish Rite of Canada. Scottish Rite is a worldwide Masonic Fraternity with a membership of approximately 12,500 in Canada. Dave Bennett grew up in Huntsville and attended high school here. Bennett, who currently lives in North Bay, was the co-chair of the 2015 Canadian National Mixed Curling Championships and vice-chair of the 2018 Ford World Women’s Curling Championship. “He has achieved a great deal, and Huntsville should be proud that he is one of our own.”Don’t miss out on Doppler!
