Huntingtown falls short in Maryland 3A baseball final

Huntingtown’s Spencer Cooper delivers against Thomas Johnson during the Hurricanes’ 3-2 loss in the Maryland 3A state title game Saturday at Aberdeen, Md. (Will Newton/For The Washington Post)Huntingtown wasn’t even supposed to be here, facing the last three outs of its season at Ripken Stadium in the Maryland 3A championship game.
