The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, Péter Szijjártó, has once again insisted that supporting the African countries in improving the quality of life within their borders is a better option for tackling migration from there rather than working only on the management of irregular migration to Europe. Previously, Minister Szijjártó also noted that Hungary is ready to support countries that are less developed to strengthen their stability and to prevent future waves of migration. In this regard, he said that the consequences of the war in Ukraine have directly affected Hungary and the world. In this regard, Minister Szijjártó pointed out that such challenges can also lead to the spread of extreme ideologies and a growing perception of danger, since, according to him, these are among the main causes of irregular migration on a large scale. Moreover, in recent times Hungary has mostly struggled with the large flow of irregular immigration.
