Hundreds of homes in the Wellington suburb of Naenae are without power this evening. According to Wellington Electricity, Bush St, Butler St, Harris St, Hewer Crescent, Kowhai St, Naenae Rd, Rata St, Strand Crescent and Westbury St were affected. Wellington Electricity reported at 5.05pm that 1100 customers were affected by a feeder faullt. According to the latest update, at 7.01pm, 290 customers continued to be without power. It comes ahead of the most anticipated rugby match of the year between the All Blacks and the Lions at Auckland's Eden Park.
