More than 600 jobs were posted at the Great South Job Search in Invercargill on Wednesday. Budd was confident that the number at the Great South Job Search 2020 was a good reflection on the number of jobs available in Southland. Great South Southland Youth Futures co-ordinators Allison Beckham​ they were pleasantly surprised by the amount of jobs available. The majority of jobs listed were for general labourers but several jobs listed were for pipe/PVC fitters, roofers. Of the hospitality jobs listed were for full-time work, 10 part-time, five listed as casual and five didn’t state the hours.
