Holidaymakers have been warned about more flight cancellations after Boeing was ordered to ground a model of its aircraft after a scary mid-air blowout last week. Alaska Airlines Flight 1282 took off from Portland, Oregon, late on Friday night (local time) bound for Ontario, California, when the door of the 737 Max 9 fell off. There is set to be more flight chaos for travellers across the United States after Boeing was ordered to ground its 737 Max 9's over a mid-air incident last week. “We agree with and fully support the FAA’s decision to require immediate inspections of 737-9 airplanes with the same configuration as the affected plane," Boeing said. The model of Boeing aircraft was previously grounded between March 2019 and December 2020 after two separate crashes left 346 people dead.
