Residents of the Jane and Finch community braved the random spring snowfall to line up Wednesday morning to get their COVID-19 vaccine on the last day of a pop-up clinic at Driftwood Community Centre. Organized by the Black Creek Community Health Centre, the clinic opened on Monday with set hours from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. A seemingly endless line wrapped around the community centre along the sidewalk of Jane Street, down to the corner of Driftwood Avenue and Driftwood Court. The day before they arrived at the community centre around 6 p.m. and stumbled upon what they believe to be close to 500 people. Loading... Loading... Loading... Loading... Loading...
