Hundreds of people gathered in Dedworth last week to enjoy food and celebration to mark Eid ul-Fitr. Around 400 to 500 people attended Windsor Muslim Association’s Eid in the Park evening on Friday, March 20. The day started at 9am with a prayer, followed by a sermon in the New Windsor Community Association (NWCA) base in Hanover Way, by Dedworth Manor Park. Following this, guests enjoyed social time, and ‘beautiful food’ was served, Mohamed Arif, chairman of Windsor Muslim Association, said. The association will be holding an Eid in the Park event to mark Eid ul-Adha in May.
