Manitoba RCMP confirm human remains have been found on the banks of the Red River in East Selkirk, Man. Police were called to the scene Saturday at approximately 1 p.m. near the junction of Highway 212 (Ferry Road) and Highway 204 in East Selkirk. When officers arrived they confirmed the remains were human and contacted the Manitoba Historical Resources Branch for assistance, said RCMP. Employees with the branch are helping with the ongoing investigation. Much of the area was taped off on Sunday.
