A regional daily marked two years since the start of the first coronavirus lockdown with a special edition. The Hull Daily Mail ran the edition on Wednesday to commemorate the Covid-19 milestone in the UK. The Mail’s special aimed to take a look at how Hull “suffered, coped and is now recovering”. The Mail also revisited people in the city who it first spoke to on their doorsteps in May 2020. The latest coverage comes after the Mail last year launched a campaign to change its patch’s “poor” coronavirus vaccination rate.
