Hull City expect to be able to unveil Yu Hirakawa and Toby Collyer as January signings after agreeing deals with Bristol City and Manchester United, respectively. Manager Sergej Jakirovic revealed both transfers were close to completion with the deal for former Bristol City utility man Hirakawa already pending a medical. "With Yu Hirakawa I think we agree everything with Bristol [City] and after a medical check on Sunday he will have a press conference and he will be our player," Jakirovic told BBC Radio Humberside. "With Toby Collyer we are waiting but I think we have a green light from Man United and I think he will join us on Monday. Hirakawa made what appears likely to be the last of 60 league appearances for Bristol City when coming on as a second half substitute in the goalless draw with Oxford United on Saturday.
