Hulk Hogan is back on WWE's radar in a year where a prominent, show-stealing appearance in the WWE co-produced Andre the Giant documentary led to rumors of a WWE return. If and when Hogan makes yet another unlikely WWE comeback, any backlash would be justified—even more so in the absence of a heartfelt, contrite apology on WWE programming. The honor was quickly and conspicuously paired with a TMZ report that Hogan is closing in on a return to WWE. While he has taken many steps in the right direction since we parted ways, Hogan is not currently under contract to WWE. WWE is also coming off its inaugural Greatest Royal Rumble event as part of a 10-year deal with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
