MANILA, Philippines — The citizen’s movement to persuade Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio to throw her hat into the 2022 presidential derby gained momentum with over a hundred officials and volunteers participating in a mass oath-taking of the Hugpong Para Kay Sara (HPS) Pangasinan chapter at the WCC Aeronautical and Technological College in Pangasinan. Named the chapter’s board of advisors were 5th District Rep. Ramon Guico III, Pangasinan Vice Mayor Mark Lambino; former Alaminos City mayor Arthur Celeste; former congressman Mark Cojuangco; and Deputy Speaker Conrad Estrella III. Presiding over the oath-taking was HPS national chairman, former Davao del Norte governor Anthony del Rosario. Meanwhile, in Agusan Del Sur, barangay kagawads signed a manifesto declaring their support to the daughter of President Duterte.
