Hugo Lloris 'more than twice the drink-drive limit' when Spurs star was stopped and arrested by police

The Spurs ace was stopped by officers in Gloucester Place, near Baker Street, at 2.30am where he failed a breathalyser test. Now official court papers reveal that the French international was stopped with 80 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath - more than double the legal limit of 35mg. Lloris was arrested by officers carrying out a routine stop and charged later the same day, after spending over six hours in prison. "I wish to apologise wholeheartedly to my family, the club, my team-mates, the manager and all of the supporters. Lloris missed Spurs' 2-1 loss to Watford last weekend due to injury, but did play in the 3-0 win over Manchester United - four days after his arrest.
