Elijah Hughes and Buddy Boeheim combined for 59 points and both set career scoring marks as Syracuse broke a three-game losing streak with a 97-63 win over Georgia Tech on Saturday in Atlanta. Georgia Tech (4-3, 1-1 ACC) was led by sophomore Moses Wright with 17 points and nine rebounds, and junior Bubba Parham added 11 points. Syracuse closed the half by outscoring Georgia Tech 16-9 and led 48-28 at halftime. Georgia Tech again played without starting point guard Jose Alvarado. Both teams are off until Dec. 14, when Syracuse plays at Georgetown and Georgia Tech plays at Kentucky.
