In an effort to safeguard as many jobs as possible, the company said it was in talks with two potential buyers interested in taking over parts of its network. ‌ATS Euromaster said that once the sales were completed, the chain would be too small and geographically limited to complete effectively or operate as a viable national business. Sites earmarked for closure will continue operating during a consultation period, which is expected to run until April. He explained that competition and rising costs have left the company with "no viable path forward" to break even.
