Due to the Covid-19 pandemic this year, the selected students would receive the training and experience online, Huawei said in a press release. Traditionally, the champions would go to China for a study trip for two-week, as Huawei had been organizing the event in Bangladesh for the last five years. The winners were announced in a virtual gala event titled 'Seeds for the Future 2020' on Wednesday. Beatrice Kaldun said, “ICT talent and innovative ICT solutions are needed to respond the Covid-19 challenges. Huawei has come up with program Seeds for the Future to find out the talent."
