BUTTERWORTH: Parti Cinta Malaysia (PCM) vice-president Datuk Huan Cheng Guan (pic) has kept his promise to quit the party now that Chow Kon Yeow has become the Penang Chief Minister. He is the right candidate for the Chief Minister post. “I believe he will do a good job for Penang,” Huan told a press conference yesterday. His resignation was in accordance with his election manifesto that he would quit if Chow is Chief Minister, as it would mean that there was no necessity for him (Huan) to play his check and balance role anymore. So from now on, I will only play an advisory role in PCM,” said Huan, 57.
