T he Queen will celebrate her Platinum Jubilee with a four-day weekend full of events, from the annual Trooping the Colour parade to the Platinum Party and the palace. Platinum Beacons: Lighting up the JubileeThousands of community beacons will be lit up across the UK, while Commonwealth beacons will be lit in the capital cities of the 54 Commonwealth nations, over the Platinum Jubilee weekend. Platinum Beacons: Lighting up the Jubilee will be broadcast on BBC One and BBC iPlayer on Thursday 2 June. Platinum Jubilee: A Service of Thanksgiving will be broadcast on BBC One and BBC iPlayer on Friday 3 June.
