Michelle Obama, Chaka Khan and Questlove are set to help headline a concert celebration for Juneteenth. Juneteenth, which recognizes the U.S. emancipation of enslaved African-Americans, became a federal holiday last year. Sunday’s festivities include special remarks from Obama and musical performances by Khan, Ne-Yo, Earth, Wind & Fire, Billy Porter, Bell Biv DeVoe and many more. “We chose a group of artists who represent diverse genres,” Shawn Gee, who is producing the concert, told CNN. We are introducing different individuals who were central in this becoming a federal holiday.
