It's bad enough trying to get through a heatwave by day, but it can be worse trying to sleep at night when the thermometer barely falls. And it's all about bringing down the body temperature as night closes in. This assumes you are OK about leaving windows open at night, which isn't the case for all of us. When you sleep naked your sweat will stay on your body throughout the night as it does not allow moisture to evaporate between your body and your sheets. Snuggling with your partner at night increases body heat and will only make your bed sweatier than it needs to be.
