Your lack of service might be caused by a simple setting change, like your iPhone is in Airplane Mode or your cellular settings might be set incorrectly. In less common cases, your iPhone might need to have its cellular settings updated via a software update from your cellular service provider, or you might need to reset or replace the SIM card. Toggle Airplane Mode off and then on again. Like toggling Airplane Mode, completely restarting your iPhone might “wake” your cellular service and return it to operation. If you still have no service, contact your cellular service provider and ask about any local outages, problems with your service plan, and if your device is being blocked.
