In the euphoria following the 14th General Election results, we must not forget the odds stacked in favour of the previous government when the election was called. It is time to fix the playing field so that it is even for future elections. This should not be the case as we have a huge NRD database;THE Election Commission should have representation from political parties which had achieved a certain percentage of votes in the previous election. The state secretary and the chief secretary to the government will run the state and the country until a new government is formed. In the previous election, many ministers were campaigning during office hours while drawing a salary.
