Marks were allegedly found around her neck and the pubic hair of the deceased missing, suggesting ritual purposes. However, some sources have fingered the boyfriend of Favour as the probable mastermind of the gruesome killing. Confirming the tragedy, the Delta State Police Commissioner, Mr Adeyinka Adeleke, was quoted as saying: “the lady in question was with the sister and she had a call. When she wanted to leave, she told her sister that it’s her boyfriend that she wanted to go and see.
