When safety technology goes wrongOver the last year, there’s been a surge in 911 calls in Florida and across the United States, and News 6 has learned it’s because of a well-intentioned technology feature. The technology isn’t new but the company “Yondr” estimates they saw a 150% increase in schools using them in 2023 with more than 2,000 schools participating.
