How many architectural and building graduates do we have? On the job training versus higher education - new figures suggest one is for men and the other is for women. Men continue to dominate the building and architecture industry, and the workforce gender gap could be stemming from education. In 2015, New Zealand men overwhelmed the amount of women gaining building certificates, statistics reveal. However, more women than men are moving up the food chain by completing higher education with Masters and Honours architecture university degrees.
