It’s also New Zealand’s closest trading partner. Australia is our second largest trading partner as goods and services flow across the ditch.Annabelle Liang/AP Singapore and New Zealand have had a Free Trade Agreement for two decades. This boosted trade between the two countries, with Singapore now New Zealand’s largest trading partner in South East Asia. New Zealand’s trade minister Damien O’Connor says that it should be reached by August this year.
