Highlights 1 Akshay launched "Bharat ke Veer" web portal and mobile application for real heroes of India. The portal is the brainchild of Akshay Kumar, who told a packed audience in Vigyan Bhawan in Delhi, how a documentary on terrorists inspired him to launch this application. Singh added that a corpus of Rs one crore would be given to the families of martyrs. The site will allow anyone to financially support the braveheart of their choice towards the Bharat ke Veer corpus. The corpus itself will be managed by a committee of eminent persons who will disburse the fund equitably to the bravehearts families.
