After a month of reports that actor Clayne Crawford was an abusive nightmare on the set of Fox’s Lethal Weapon, the actor was ultimately fired way back in May. So how was his character, Martin Riggs, written off? As suspected and evidenced by the Season 3 premiere on Tuesday night, he was indeed killed off. Cut to the premiere, where we find out he died in the shooting, and that Garrett killed himself shortly after. Damon Wayans’s Murtaugh, Riggs’s partner, didn’t take the news well, taking a break from work for six months and devolving into a deep depression.
