How about improving the road quality too, Lee tells DBKL

KUALA LUMPUR: Alliance for Safe Community chairman Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye urges Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) to focus on road quality improvement in addition to its plans to facelift the city’s iconic buildings. Lee was referring to the state of major roads affected by numerous construction projects, coupled with inconsistent or poor maintenance work. “Recently DBKL announced that there will be renovations to touch up the heritage buildings in Kuala Lumpur, including the Supreme Court. Lee reminded DBKL should not only monitor primary and protocol arteries but also roads in residential areas. After the upgrade, DBKL planned to make the century-old cluster of colonial buildings at the junction of Jalan Raja and Jalan Tun Perak accessible to the public for free.
