Sake, adzuki bean, sakura (cherry blossom), Shinshu apple, and green tea – in Japan, KitKat is a phenomenon. More than 300 different flavours have been on the market since the early 2000s. And now, CNN reports, KitKat owner Nestle is taking things a step further with limited edition KitKat “sushi” sets. The “sushi” comes in three different flavours: the “tuna” tastes like raspberry; “tamagoyaki” (omelette) is pumpkin pudding; and the “sea urchin” is Hokkaido melon with mascarpone cheese.
