I will never forget the sixth day of my first cruise ever – aboard the Nomad Cruise going from Colombia to Portugal. Although the Gartner Hype Cycle is usually used for technology, I think it can easily be applied to the phases of experiencing something new or, in technical terms, becoming part of a new hype.
