BohempiaPrague based eco-friendly footwear brand Bohempia makes shoes out of hemp. Our shoes are made in the Czech Republic, in city of Zlín where Tomas Bat'a founded his eponymous shoe brand, Bata. The Czech textile and footwear industries were hard hit by the global economic meltdown of 2008. Sustainable fashion and brands is a growing market in the Czech Republic. We look at Kickstarter as an excellent proof of concept for the Bohempia brand.
