The Seattle Seahawks are no longer the perennial Super Bowl contenders they were earlier in the decade, when they led the league in fewest points allowed every season from 2012 to 2015. Wide receiver Tyler Lockett proved a solid investment after signing a three-year, $30 million contract that included a $9 million signing bonus. They finished in the middle of the pack in yards and points allowed this year. Without that dominant defense, the Seahawks are no longer a Super Bowl contender. Dallas is playing well now and is a field-goal favorite this weekend, so even a Seattle wild-card victory would be an upset.
