But once that new coach is selected, he and Douglas at some point will sit down and begin to map out their strategy. Douglas showed in his first foray into free agency in 2020 that he has a price point with certain players that he won’t go above. Maye, a second-round pick in 2017, had two interceptions and 11 pass breakups in 2020, including one that sealed the Jets’ first win of the season.
