Maybe President Joe Biden heard the criticisms that he doesn’t give enough formal press conferences. It was long, at times meandering, at others “pugnacious,” in the words of MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow. After a relatively lengthy opening statement, Biden took questions from media gathered at the White House for nearly two hours. At one point he jokingly asked the press corps if they wanted to go another hour or two. “If he wanted to prove that he could stand there for two hours and take it, mission accomplished,” CNN’s John King said.
