AgnonaFounded in 1953 as fabric specialists and now part of the Zegna group, Agnona is famed for providing customized fabrics to some of the most named couture houses. For Holloway, fabric selection and creation begins six-nine months prior to designing the collection. Working with the arsenal of archived fabrics and patterns, he experiments with different finishes, colored yarns, and patterned fabrics to guarantee their availability and timing. “ The Milanese are notoriously discreet, but have an air of private eccentricity,” says Holloway, describing his observation of how the Milanese carry themselves.
