The cast of “A Christmas Carol” at Ford’s Theatre collected money for the Homeless Children’s Playtime Project and presented its representatives with a huge check last week. And with Tiny Tim in the room, it was hard to say no to the Homeless Children’s Playtime Project. So after each performance, Scrooge, played by Craig Wallace, stood before the audience and asked them to help the homeless kids of the District. But this year — when they focused on the city’s homeless children — they raised their highest amount ever.
