Scotland's First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has come under fire after failing to congratulate England for reaching the semi-final of Euro 2020. It comes after the SNP leader has vocally backed Scotland's national team in any sport they have enjoyed success in. Douglas Ross, the leader of the Scottish Conservative Party, suggested SNP MPs had been deliberately slow in voting during England's 2018 World Cup tie with Colombia. The Government won all five votes, with the number of MPs voting in favour falling steadily from 312 to 175 as the England game progressed. Four Plaid Cymru MPs, 28 SNP MPs and Liberal Democrat Wera Hobhouse were among the 33 voting against.
