Matthijs de Ligt is finally set to complete his move to Juventus despite a late attempt to snare him from Barcelona . According to Spanish daily Marca , Raiola was desperate to negotiate a release clause in De Ligt's deal with Juve due to the current predicament he is facing with Pogba. The saga involving Pogba and United ultimately meant that the agent insisted on a release clause being included in the deal taking De Ligt to Juventus to avoid a repeat. Ajax recently announced defender De Ligt was left out of their squad for their summer tour to Austria pending "a possible transfer". "Awaiting a possible transfer, Matthijs De Ligt does not travel with the group."
