FOR being too voluminous, facts and figures for clarifying the issues raised by Sen. Franklin Drilon in regard to the Philippine offshore gaming operation (POGO) could not be cited in this column yesterday. First, to raise money is intrinsic to Pagcor’s existence; if it does not, then it becomes remiss in its duty. On the real estate front, Chairman Domingo declares that POGOs account for the rise in value of properties. True, Chairman Domingo admits, we cannot discount the possibility of certain shenanigans being concomitant to POGO activities. On the controversial issue of POGO giving rise to prostitution in the Philippines, Domingo strongly takes an exception.
