The Dow jumped above 20,000 on Trump's first week in office but fell back below that psychologically important level on Monday amid the backlash from Trump's immigration policy. So far, the jury is still out but it all depends on how graceful Trump will be when implementing his policies going forward. This is bad for markets as it implies zero process is in place as erratic errors are occurring. However, they might do well to consider what might happen to the bid for US treasuries if Trump stops America from buying foreign countries’ products.
