Dear Liz,I started new job in October, so almost six months ago. I accepted a lower salary than I should have, because I had been out of work for so long. I should have negotiated my job offer but I was afraid to in case they decided to hire somebody else. When should I ask Jim for a pay raise? I don't want to wait all the way to October.
