In 2013 Ben Lawton was studying for a business management degree at Leeds Trinity University when he launched Custom Controllers. When he listed the products on eBay and they quickly sold out Lawton knew he was on to something. At university, while he focused on his degree studies, he also pursued his business plans, which created conflict.
