Soltis-Berner talked of creating a “platinum-level experience” for employees, much like at a high-end hotel. Among her favorite parts of the DU experience, Nelson cited the free Starbucks – “everyone’s wired and excited all the time” – greeters at the airport baggage claim, comfortable bathrobes and outside seating with musical entertainment and fire pits. Having recently returned to DU for more advanced training after a career milestone, Nelson has an even greater appreciation for the experience.
