Over a decade on, still aged just 15, it was revealed that Brooklyn had signed an academy contract with Arsenal. Coaches at the Premier League club were said to have been impressed by his skills after training with the club's under-16 side. Their opponents had several players who would graduate to the Premier League such as Harvey Barnes, Hamza Choudhury and Ben Chilwell, with the latter becoming an England international. He added that it had been strange to see Victoria Beckham turn up at training sessions to pick up Brooklyn. 'One of my lasting memories is winning the [Premier League] title and walking around with Brooklyn when he was 18 months.'
