This week in Monte-Carlo, the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation held its annual Gala for the Global Ocean and honored actor Orlando Bloom for his efforts in campaigning for environmental change. Bloom's cousin Sebastian Copeland is an environmental campaigner and photographer and was creating a photo book about Antarctica and Global Warning. Departing from Ushuaia in Argentina, they boarded the 1950's Ice Lady Patagonia for the three day crossing into Antarctica. Orlando Bloom: "I traveled with my cousin to the coldest place on earth in search of seclusion, silence, and sanity: Antarctica. "The urgency of climate change has never rung louder than it is now.
