Data showed nearly 10,000 people were given an Emergency Housing Special Needs Grant between July and September last year. "What they need is permanent accommodation, they need permanent housing, and the support to access that. "A lot of the emergency housing is not up to standard. "But standardisation of emergency housing would be something we would consider to be of huge benefit for the community."
